This is my favorite background wallpaper of all time, sized 1280x1024.
All of MadStone's excellent art comes from Jacob Stevens. I love all of the backgrounds in the game, but this one may well be my favorite, so I decided to resize the original high-res image into a wallpaper. After I realized how great it looks, I quickly set it as the background for all of my computers.

When Jake first handed me this background and I put it into MadStone, I found myself staring at it for hours at a time, watching the scrolling stars and asking questions. What civilization built those ruins? How many adventures wait just down the path? What lies beyond what we can see in the picture? You can ask these questions and more every time you turn on your computer.
Too bad I can't include the scrolling stars as part of the background... that would be the ultimate. By the way, I might make some other wallpapers from our games. Any specific requests? Leave a comment!
