We are proud to announce that Cash Cow is available now on the iTunes store for iPhone and iPod Touch! We put two years of effort into making this the sort of puzzle game you will play and remember for a long time. It is easy to get into, has truly deep mechanics, and loads of content.
Our publisher, Chillingo, has made the game $0.99 for a very limited time. I encourage you to check it out before they increase the price!
Thanks to everyone who helped make this game possible, especially the Plasmaworks team for their amazing Plasmacore game framework.
Our friend Tim Winsky, creator of hilarious classics
The Emperor Teaches Typing and
Super Smashed Bros. has just launched the website for his new venture,
TwinSky Games. On his new site, Tim provides fascinating background information on many of his past game development projects, including Riverman Media's
Cash Cow. I encourage you to download the demos, watch the videos, and read his insightful discussion on some of the most bizarre games ever created.
GameDev.net has published a
written version
of the presentation I gave at NAU this spring on the logistics of game development with a small team. Have a look!
RiverMan Media started creating its first game, Cash Cow, about four years ago for the PC. Within the next few weeks, we plan to release the much expanded and improved Cash Cow for the iPhone. The new Cash Cow is far more than just a port. Over the last few years, we've been listening carefully to reviews and player feedback. We've taken all of the suggestions to heart in making our latest game, and we hope that it will be just what new and former Cash Cow players are looking for. Read on to learn about what's new in Cash Cow, and how we combined suggestions from players with our own ideas to make a game that we think players will really enjoy.
